The Brigant Laboratory is located in the beautiful city of Trondheim, Norway and hosted at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Our lab is working on molecular medicine at the forefront of advancing diagnostics and developing innovative treatments for rheumatologic diseases to improve the patient life.

Our research focuses on understanding the complexities of connective tissue disorders and exploring chondrocytes biology under pathological conditions.

While our primary focus is on osteoarthritis, we also investigate genetic diseases affecting the joints, with a special emphasis on Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
